ESPORTS & BEER – Cheers to all the Romanian gamers out there

Digital Crusade has just released the drink of choice for esports enthusiasts everywhere, bringing the rivalry of esports to the living rooms of gamers everywhere.

With the Romanian Esports League in full force, the people behind Digital Crusade, KTRL Knights and Cluj Craft Beer Festival have just launched this summer’s esports beers.
Three types of beer with three distinct tastes, branded by three of the top esports organizations in Romania: Nexus Gaming, KTRL Knights and Game Agents. 

This release is dedicated to the most well known Romanian esports organizations and it’s meant to encourage a carry-over of the rivalry between the teams. Fans are expected to support both their favorite team and their favorite beer!

“The Cluj Craft Beer Festival, the Digital Crusade tournament and the KTRL Knights team have embarked on this joint venture. We wanted to create a beer that celebrates both the victories and the hardships that are sometimes present in esports. The idea came naturally and we’re very excited that it came to fruition with the help of our friends from Beretta Timisoara. They have managed to find a flavor that’s easily associated with the “titans” of our esports scene. We tried to capture the rebel spirit of the esports scene and to translate it into a strong taste, without compromise, a taste meant for all the connoisseurs out there. Esports as a phenomenon is a celebration of alternative culture, a space dedicated to those that wish to experience something different and unique. We believe these traits to be present in our beers as well and we’ve tailor-made our beers’ tastes, names and packaging to fit these ideals: Nexus AWP(double IPA), KTRL Crossfire(Dry Hopped Lager) and Game Agents DING(IPA)” said Mihai Cotos, the project’s leader, CEO of Digital Crusade & Owner of KTRL Knights. 

The new craft beers, the only ones dedicated to local esports teams and fans, can be purchased online, as well as from partner stores.
