Good news for Romanian gaming lovers: two of the most ambitious competitive gaming tournaments held in Romania, Digital Crusade Season 4, and Samsung Rift Wars, found out their semi-finalists and finalists this week!

Digital Crusade Season 4, the League of Legends competition organized in Cluj in partnership with Riot Games, the official producer of the game, will have a total prize pool of 10,000 euros and will take place from the 17th to the 24th of October, with a 100% online stream that will be live on the Digital Crusade’s YouTube and Twitch channels.

After a long and hard-fought playoffs period, that lasted 7 stages for 3 and a half weeks, the competition has found its semi-finalists represented by teams from 3 countries: Romania (Urban Esports and Nexus KTRL), Ukraine (Racquestai), and Bulgaria (Random 5) are among those who will fight side by side on the 18th and the 21st of October to advance to the grand final on the 22nd of October.

“We are very proud that despite the difficult times that both sports and mass-market events are going through, we can stand by gaming lovers and offer them a show as it should be, with quality League of Legends, strong teams, the most beloved influencers in the industry and a truly international competition born out of the love for gaming, right in the heart of Transylvania, in Cluj”, says Mihai Cotos, President of Digital Crusade.

For mobile game lovers, the mobile version of League of Legends – Wild Rift, will also be in the spotlight in a 100% Romanian competition, Samsung Rift Wars, organized in partnership with Samsung Romania and with a total prize of 2,000 euros. The finalists of the competition were decided on the 1st and 2nd of October, with the group stage being filled with strong teams, among which, in the end, Nexus KTRL and OneTap Gaming showed their skills by qualifying for the grand final on the 19th of October.
