Two teams remain in the race for the 10,000 euros top prize. Eight teams from Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, and Ukraine battled for 6 weeks to reach this point, and the two teams that managed to break away were Urban Esports (Romania) and Random 5 (Bulgaria).

It’s shaping up to be a great showdown, with Urban Esports in pole position to win the competition. They haven’t lost a series in the playoffs and have had very solid performances throughout the tournament. Urban’s experienced player Coatpustmain facilitated this run even before the start of the play-off stage, saying in an interview with Digital Crusade: “It’s the best team I’ve ever played against and I’m sure if we play the way I know we can play, no one can beat us” said Zidaru “Coatpustmain” Laurentiu – Dodel.

This feeling also echoes among the competition’s fans, who gave Urban Esports over 70% chances of victory in a social media vote.

On the other hand, Random 5 reaches the final as a “sleeping giant”, being a legendary team in the Balkan area. As part of the team, LUBEEENZZZ, Spooky, Imzs, WildRabbit, and HopHopJr have managed to win very important competitions in the past, such as Esports Balkan League or South European Championship. However, their path to the finals has been very difficult. They qualified in the last round of the regular season, and in the play-off stage, they lost to Urban Esports 2-0. Having reached the lower bracket, they seemed to be reborn by eliminating the defending champions Nexus KTRL from the competition after an extremely convincing 2-0 win.

The Random 5 jungler said in an interview with Digital Crusade: “We’re a different team in the lower bracket, you’ll see, it’s where we feel most comfortable” said Miroslav “Spooky” Gochev.

This seems to be reflected in the team’s performance in the semi-finals, where they managed to win in an extremely convincing manner. The audience witnessed a show of strength from Random 5 in a series where they played a game that reminded us all of the times when the team established itself as the best in our region.

The audience is expected to watch the clash between these two giants, a match between “old” and “new” that promises to be the tightest and most exciting League of Legends final we’ve seen at Digital Crusade.

The Digital Crusade League of Legends Finals will be available to watch on Digital Crusade’s YouTube and Twitch channels on the 26th of October, starting at 18:00.

The road to this final has been long, arduous, and challenging, with the semi-finals and final of Digital Crusade Season 4 postponed by 2 days due to the epidemiological situation in Cluj.

We would like to thank all those who have stood by us during this difficult and challenging period.
